Matt Sloan serves as Director of Logistics and Printing Services, working in the University’s Business and Auxiliaries business unit for more than 19 years.
Effectively managing printing and mailing services for the Pitt community is no easy task, requiring Matt’s constant focus on quality, accuracy, speed and security, with teamwork and collaboration at the forefront. Matt seeks innovative ways to further strengthen his team’s service levels and impact, committed to continued improvement that will advance excellence at Pitt.
Teamwork extends to the community, as Matt partners with Life’sWork of Western PA to make life-changing differences in the lives of others. Life’sWork is a non-profit organization dedicated to making lives work better, supporting individuals with disabilities to strengthen their workplace abilities, build life skills and develop meaningful relationships in compassionate, inclusive and equitable communities where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive.
