Buses Home

The Buses Home for the Holidays program is the University's sponsored transportation designed to give students a safe, comfortable alternative ride home for the University's three major recesses: Thanksgiving, winter, and spring. Deluxe motor coaches (Lenzner/Coach USA) transport students in air-conditioned comfort to their hometown, and most destinations served are direct routes.

Buses depart from University Place next to Nordenberg Hall to the locations below. All tickets are issued through Megabus.com. Essential communications, including itinerary, confirmation, and travel alerts will be sent to the email provided at the time of purchase.

Please note that there are two other bus programs in Oakland - Star College Break and Rally Bus - that offer buses home for the holiday break. These programs are not affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh.​
