Student Parking
If your car is going to be on campus a lot, then a student permit may be right for you! Explore our student permit options below:
Resident Students
Students residing in on-campus housing can apply for resident student parking permits on a first-come, first-serve basis. Permit applications will be available on this page during summer 2022. Be advised that applying for a permit does not guarantee your ability to receive a permit.
Commuter Students
Commuter students are encouraged to utilize free public transportation via their Pitt ID. However, students who have unique needs can purchase a commuter student parking permit each semester on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Evening Students
Students who only attend night classes can purchase an evening student parking permit at a reduced rate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Summer Students
Students who attend summer courses can purchase a special summer student parking permit at the Parking Office. These permits are sold by the week and require a minimum of 4 weeks.
