Address Guidelines
To ensure that you receive your mail promptly, all mail sent to you should be addressed according to the address and zip code guidelines.
Mail Delivery and Collection
We deliver mail received from the United States Postal Service to student mailboxes on the same day it is received on campus. The United States Postal Service collects U.S. mail from the United States Postal Service collection boxes located in the mail centers at approximately 7:30 a.m. daily Monday through Saturday. There are additional collection boxes located in residence halls and other locations around campus. Check the collection boxes for pick-up times.
Mail Security
Your mail center is responsible for the security of your mail. In order for us to provide maximum security, we need your cooperation. Please make sure you lock your mailbox after each use. If you have difficulty locking your box, please contact the mail center for assistance. Your individual mailbox combination is provided for your use only; do not give it to your roommate or friends.
Mail Deadlines
Packages and/or mail of any kind should not be sent to you more than one week prior to your arrival on campus and not less than one week prior to your last residential day of the school year.
Campus Mail
Campus mail is a free on-campus mail service with one- to two-day delivery. Simply place campus mail in specially marked boxes located in the mail centers and throughout the University campus.
Forwarding Address
When you move out of University housing, you are required to complete a forwarding address card, which can be obtained at your mail center. Upon completion, please leave the card in your mailbox or present it to one of the mail center workers. Mail will be returned to sender if no forwarding address is left.
Mailing Services
Students can purchase postage stamps, packing supplies, and mail packages in Packages Plus, which is located in the Towers Mail Center.
University Apartments
Students residing in University apartment accommodations receive their mail from the United States Postal Service. To ensure that you receive your mail promptly, all mail sent to you should be addressed according to the address and zip code guidelines.
