Pre-Tax Deduction
If you already pay for a University parking permit, your monthly payroll deduction is pre-tax.
To become a registered carpool, complete the CommuteInfoSM registration form.
As long as you have completed the Parking Application form, your deduction is pre-tax.
If you carpool, but don’t have a University permit, there is a reimbursement program that is beneficial to you, as well. Check out Pitt’s Human Resources Web site for additional information, and to enroll in the program.
